1. Service provider

Aalto Films Oy (Business ID 3477879-3), operating under the brand name Aalto Visuals, Tasalankatu 14 A 2, 21200 Raisio, Finland. Contact: info@aaltovisuals.fi.

2. Scope

These terms apply to Aalto Visuals video and photography productions, the website-as-a-service offering, and the use of the client gallery and client portal, unless otherwise agreed in writing. A separately signed service agreement (e.g. the website order agreement) takes precedence over these general terms.

3. Productions: order and booking fee

An order is confirmed once the brief has been completed, the package selected, the shoot date booked and the booking fee paid. The booking fee (50% or 100% depending on the order type) is non-refundable once the shoot date has been locked in the calendar.

If the shoot cannot take place for a reason attributable to the service provider (e.g. illness), the shoot date is rescheduled free of charge to a new, mutually agreed date.

4. Delivery time

The delivery time of the selected package starts after the shoot date. Express delivery (24 h) +100% of the standard price.

5. Revisions and cancellations

One revision round is included in the price. Additional revisions +20% per round. A revision round covers finishing of the delivered material (editing, color grading, graphics) — it does not include a new shoot day.

6. Website service

The website service (design, build, hosting and maintenance) is delivered as an ongoing monthly service under a separately signed agreement. The agreement has an initial fixed term of 24 months, after which it continues until further notice with a one-month notice period. Exact pricing, term and scope are confirmed in the order-specific agreement before billing starts.

Content provided by the client (texts, images and logos) remains the client's property. The service provider is responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of the website for the duration of the agreement.

7. Client gallery and storage

Delivered material is published in a client-specific online gallery, which is valid for 60 days from delivery by default. Clients are encouraged to download the material during the validity period. Extension of the gallery and longer storage can be agreed separately by contacting info@aaltovisuals.fi.

8. Prices and payment

Prices are stated excluding VAT unless otherwise indicated, and the applicable value added tax is added. Payment methods are invoice and card payment (processed by Stripe). The payment term for invoices is 14 days unless otherwise agreed.

9. Copyright and license

Aalto Films Oy retains the copyright to the produced material. The client receives a comprehensive license to use the ordered material for all of their own purposes (websites, social media, marketing, etc.). The service provider may use completed work as a reference unless otherwise agreed with the client.

10. Limitation of liability

The service provider's liability is in all cases limited to the price paid for the assignment in question. The service provider is not liable for indirect damages.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are primarily resolved through negotiation. Failing that, disputes are settled in the District Court of Varsinais-Suomi, Finland.

12. Changes to these terms

The service provider may update these terms. Ongoing assignments are governed by the terms in force at the time of ordering, or by a separately signed agreement.
